The mission on Pandora certainly made you feel… A certain way. Some of you were happy to have saved innocents. Some of you were left very, suspicious of the way things had happened down there. Fortune was known to like showy ads. Would they shy away from putting a whole planet in danger for that sweet sweet marketing? Hm…

Still, you were given luxurious vacations this time again. Time to recuperate and heal, train and get better.

Until, one fresh “galactic time” morning, a couple of weeks after Pandora...

The very familiar ringtone interrupts you in your activities. Maybe you were doing an interview, maybe spending some time with family or loved ones or even, just trying to take a goddamn nap.

“Uh, oh~

Have you noticed any suspicious behaviour in your apps lately?

Do you have strong, 15 characters, uppercase, lowercase,

numbers, symbols and gestures passcodes?

It seems someone got into our system and leaked some data~

But have no fear! The leak is plugged and we even have

From what you know of Fortune… This isn’t really a request. The notification stays on your screen for a long time. Nothing short of restarting your devices makes it go away earlier than waiting several minutes.

Chapter 3: DATA LEAK

You enter a small meeting room at Fortune Station. 3R-27. The rectangular table barely leaves you enough space to squeeze to your seats. Despite the apparent gravity of the situation, it seems getting a more comfortable room was out of budget. Maybe because the situation is also urgent.

Even the video screen is kind of shitty. Something happened to it and everything has a blueish tint.As you settle in, the image comes to life and a person appears in front of the camera. Though the image is of poor quality, some of you recognize that face from the emails you receive more or less every two weeks about data protection and sensitive data management, changing your emails and making sure they’re different for every important thing.

Probably hasn't slept for a while.

“Right, so.” He sits down at a small table in an office about as cramped as the room you’re in. “We have a situation. Some confidential bounty data has been leaked to... Competitors. We tracked down the source of the leaked data and figured out where it was sent from.” The stream changes to show you a picture of the galaxy then zooms in to a specific yellow planet. Its name appears below it.

“Duvende, somewhere in the ass-end of Quadrant 127. We need you to get there, investigate and apprehend the hacker. I've been told that we don't mind if you kill them — that dead or alive they will always give us some information. I would have gone with local law enforcement but someone above my payroll decided to have you work it.” He combs his hand through his hair and pulls his glasses off to rub at his eyes.

“It's basically a bounty, an internal one. I guess I’ll have to trust you know how to do your jobs. Any questions?..."
